MY STORY
A journey of challenges, inspiration and discovery
Despite a 20 year career as a business owner in the wellness industry, there was a time when I didn't prioritise my own wellbeing. My experiences with chronic stress, anxiety, and the grief of losing my father, had left me completely depleted.

Looking back I should have slowed down and asked for help, but I just kept pushing through, pretending that I was fine, and that approach only works for so long. One day I collapsed at work, that place I’d arrived at? That was burnout.

I had reached total exhaustion, my immune system was compromised, and now I was so sick I was forced to stop. I had to close my business, put my wellbeing first, and reset, recover, and repair the years of damage stress had caused.
​
Knowing things had to change I embarked on a healing journey; first returning to my neglected yoga practice, and then discovering meditation, slowly realising just how powerful these mind-body tools and techniques are to overcome stress, and cultivate wellbeing in a society where busy is celebrated. Over time I felt more connected, calmer, more energised and more like myself again.

During this time off I studied, questioned and explored new ways of living and working that brought more balance and joy. The more I discovered the more I wanted to know, and that led me to spend five years retraining as a holistic life coach, mind-body practitioner, positive psychology practitioner, and energy healing facilitator.

Since then I've made it my mission to share these powerful tools, practices and resources to help others, motivating and supporting you so that you can incorporate those same techniques I used into your life to create more joy, more purpose, more calm, and greater wellbeing (with balance, not burnout!).
